Communication: The Leader’s Art

While the focus of John’s work is keynote presentations, he has never lost his love for the one-to-one connection. Therefore, beyond the large keynote audiences, John reserves time each year to work one-to-one with four to five executives.

John’s focus in one-on-one coaching is very specific in working with executives to develop the leader’s art of communication. While John’s keynote presentations and his books are focused on creating a leader of increasing depth, he does not do general “life coaching” (although he is always pleased to connect you to coaches who are excellent at providing such services). John’s executive coaching services are focused on one thing: the leader’s ability to communicate more effectively.

John is not a professional presentation skills coach. He is a professional speaker who has to understand the art of communication to be effective. It has been said that those who can, do … and those who can’t, teach. John does both … he has to practice what he preaches! This is not your typical one-size-fits-all presentation skills class. It is about reaching deeply within the individual to pull out their gifts and their art of communication. While John’s coaching hits directly at the skills of effectively presenting, it reaches much deeper into the leader and their ability to inspire and influence those for whom they are privileged to lead.
